chilly outside today. After all, winter is coming. Whether you choose to brave
the cold and venture outside today or you gaze just out your window, take a few
moments to enjoy the view. A picturesque
landscape, falling snow, the road that stretches out before you, winter
foliage; it could be anything. Take stock at what beauty Mother Nature has

Today was too warm to be called “winter” but still a lovely
day that called for a walk around the apartment complex. One of my favorite
things about where we live is the pond right outside our apartment. There is a
beautiful fountain in the center that I can hear from our open windows. The
trees that circle the pond change colors and foliage with the seasons. And we
also get to enjoy the company of various turtles and birds throughout the year.
With the onset of winter, we are treated to several hooded merganser ducks.
Such a peaceful view from our cozy home…
